LobSTAR is an outdoor restaurant on two levels, right above Santa Maria beach and next to its legendary Pontão, the pier where the catch arrives every day. Enjoy a magical atmosphere with live music every night.

1 Starters

Catalan-style Spiny Lobster

spiny lobster cooked in flavoured water, served with tomato and sour-marinated onions

Small Tasting of Amberjack Carpaccio Marinated in Orange and Pink Pepper

puff pastries with fish marinated in an emulsion of lemon juice, orange and oil, served with pink pepper and grilled bread croutons

2 First Course

Spiny Lobster Risotto

carnaroli rice creamed with lobster meat and fresh tomato, blended with sparkling wine

3 Main Course

Sweaty Spiny Lobster

typical cape verdean spiny lobster, with peppers, onions, carrots, white wine and tomato sauce, all stewed in our delicious fish broth

4 Dessert

The restaurant is wheelchair accessible and has a private restroom.

Children are welcome until 5:00 PM. After that time, access is only permitted to those over 14 years old.

? What type of clothing is required to access LobSTAR?

Nothing in particular. A t-shirt and shorts or skirt is sufficient. Access is not permitted in swimwear or shirtless.
